Mixed Marigold Seeds
Mixed Marigold Seeds
Add cheerful color and hardworking blooms to your garden with these beautiful mixed marigolds. A favorite for vegetable gardens, flower beds, and borders, marigolds are loved for their long bloom season, vibrant colors, and ability to attract beneficial pollinators.
These hand-harvested seeds come from the marigolds growing throughout the Our Ruffled Nest garden, where they bloom from spring until frost alongside our vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers.
Every seed in this packet was harvested by hand during the 2026 growing season from healthy, thriving plants we grew ourselves here in North Texas.
Our entire garden is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. We believe healthy soil and healthy ecosystems produce beautiful flowers naturally, and that's exactly how these seeds were grown.
Each packet contains seeds harvested from our garden's marigolds. Because they are open-pollinated, you'll enjoy a beautiful mix of colors and bloom sizes while growing the same hardy, dependable flowers that brighten our garden year after year.
Perfect for vegetable gardens, pollinator gardens, containers, borders, and gardeners looking for reliable color throughout the growing season.

Why we grow it
Why we grow it
Zinnias are one of my absolute favorite flowers and probably the one you'll find most throughout my garden. If you've followed Our Ruffled Nest for any amount of time, chances are you've seen them in the background of more than a few videos.
I grow them year after year because they handle our Texas heat beautifully, bloom for months, and bring so much color to the garden. But one of my favorite things about them is the pollinators they attract. Throughout the summer, our zinnias are constantly visited by bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators.
The seeds in each packet are harvested by hand from zinnias grown right here at Our Ruffled Nest, so you can grow a little piece of our garden in yours.
How to grow
How to grow
Sun: Full sun
Planting depth: About ¼ inch deep
Spacing: 9–12 inches apart
Germination: Typically 3–10 days
Water: Keep soil consistently moist until seedlings are established, then water as needed
Direct sow outdoors after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Zinnias love sunshine and warm weather.
- For more blooms throughout the season, cut flowers often and remove spent blooms. The more you cut, the more they tend to produce.
