After spending more than 20 years in banking, with over half of that time in HR, I've trained and onboarded thousands of new hires. The part I loved most was watching someone understand something well enough to feel confident on their own.

My corporate days are behind me, and life looks a lot different out here in the country. My coworkers are now goats, donkeys, and a 200-pound mastiff, and I can confirm none of them take feedback well. But I still love teaching and sharing what I learn.
